Hi. Good morning. In january I´m going to be in Vienne (France)and I would like to know if there are trains from Vienne to Lyon. I would like to know too where to take the train in Vienne and if the train stops in lyon near the ancient theater. Thank you very much.

No, the train doesn't stop near the ancient theater in Lyon. You will have to take a subway for 4-5 stops and then walk or take a funicular.
Funny enough, wherever you go here, you always seem to end up against a Roman monument. The Romans were anything but not lazy over there, in Vienne. This particular structure, 20 meters high, was the centrepiece of the chariot racetrack - a fave occupation of the Romans in those days. Southern edge of the town is where you should head to see it.
