Augsburger Culture I - Perlachturm and city hall by aeaendy
The so called ?Perlachturm? and the city hall are the most popular buildings of Augsburg. The tower was built in 989 and was meant to be a watch- and firetower. In the year 1056 a firebell was installed. 1612 ? 1618 the tower was rebuilt up to 70 m by Elias Holl. It became a chime in the year 2000 and plays tunes from Mozart at 11, 12, 17 and 18 o?clock every day.
