We stayed at the Goldene Traube in the summer of 2004 with a group of 9 people. This was by far the best hotel in our seven city stay. Great Location, beautiful and spacious rooms. The food in both restaurants was good, but above all, the customer service at this hotel was beyond compare. On my next trip to Germany, I will make a point of going to Coburg in part because of the way the Goldene Traube staff treated us.
great help in arranging travel accommodations (taxis to the train station); they even packed us a travelling lunch at no charge!
