Travel Tips for Dinkelsbühl

Segringer Gate

by Roadquill

ONe of the original tower and gates over looking the moat on the East side of the town is the Segringer Tor. It was damaged during the Swedish siege in 1648 and then rebuilt in 1655. There are steps you can walk down into what was once the moat.

Nordlingen Gate

by codrutz

Nordlingen Gate has also steppled gable decorated with shell shapes, dating from the 16th century. Tar holes in the vaults. Near this tower is the former Town Mill, the second one, but just after imperial privilege has been given for Dinkelsbuehl to have two mills.
