Eichstaett is situated in the valley of the Altmuehl. People go there to hike, to bike , to climb or to canoe. It's just between Munich and Nuremberg. What I liked most about Eicstaett was the atmosphere. Friendly people, beautiful monuments, lots of outdoor restaurants, not the stress of a big town.
