DRINK BERGKIRCHWETH
The 'Schloß' (castle) of Erlangen.
It was built in 1704 by 'Markgraf Friedrich of Brandenburg'.
As the main architect was a frenchman... it is build in French-classicism style.
Nowadays the castle forms part of the university!
In front of it is a statue of Friedrich-Alexander.
I had very good time in Erlangen last year... Met nice souls and converted strangers to good friends for me. The town is the centre of "Siemens transportation Division" and my presence here was connected with this fact. The existence of the "Medical University" was strongly felt from the population of beautiful doctors and nurses. There was an interesting brewery in the town also; I'll mention about it later.
