DRINK BEER
The 'Schloßgarten' (castle-gardens) right behind the castle with its fountains and the 'Orangerie'.
On sunny days you'll find the lawn filled with people relaxing...
As they serve as a city-park, there's no entrance-fee, of course, but it closes at 8 pm anyway.
The Botanical gardens are located next to it (as you can see on the map!).
There's not much to do really do as a tourist in Erlangen. The surrounding landscape is pretty. Erlangen itself has a university, so that's a start. It has nice neighborhoods and some sheep farmers as well. This is a picture of me in a park with some funky sculptures in it. They were fun to see in this otherwise pretty conservative city in northern Bavaria.
