Frankfurt - worth a look?
I am arriving in Frankfurt on Monday morning, I will then catch a train later that day to Regensburg to stay with a friend.
I wondered - would half a day be enough to do/see some interesting things - or is Frankurt worth an over night stay?
Any thoughts?

If you are into museums, then yes, an over night stay would be worth it.
Other than that, just like Duesseldorf, Frankfurt has a lot to offer for locals, but not so much for tourists.

This coming Monday? That's Rosemonday, so expect some craziness.Not as much as in Mainz, though.Stores will be open, but check with the museums, for some of them Monday is the day they are closed.
The cathedral is worth visiting, too, as is the Nikolaikirche.
In case you decide to stay overnight: Tuesday some stores will be closed, as it's the last day of the carnival season.

I'd say it's definitely not worth much time. We spent a day there in between flights and ran out of things to do a few hours in.
