Skyline of Fürth
by AnnaLupilla
The tower you can see on the right side is the one of St. Michael, a Protestant church and the city's oldest one.
In the front you can see one of many houses adorned with slates, which are so tipical for the Old Town, you can find them on lots of houses. I was surprised to find such a cute city. I always thought Fürth was grey, dull and boring, ... but ... I now know better.
Fürth

If it had not been for a shortage of hotel rooms in Nürnberg I would never have stayed in Fürth. So I started to try and find out what I could about Fürth. I discovered that Sandra Bullock had lived in town when she was younger. Dr Henry Kissinger was born there and the first train service in Germany was between Fürth and Nürnberg.
