Hotel-Pension Berg-Café: Quite hotel a bit outside
The hotel Berg-Café is located a bit outside in a quite location (blind alley). It’s easy to reach from the highway and there are free parking spaces in front of the hotel.
The building is an old farm building, but the rooms were pretty new and comfortable, with modern equipment like flat screen TV. You also had free WLAN access. Lots of the rooms have a balcony or terrace facing south, with a nice view on the mountains. We had a very large room which seemed to be a family room, having also a sofa and some armchairs. Besides the main room, there was one separate little room for the toilet and another room for the shower. As those rooms are so small we had the wash-bowl in the room.
The hotel offers bed and breakfast, the breakfast room is in the 1st floor and has a terrace with mountain view. There wasn’t much choice at the breakfast buffet, but it was okay.
Walking to the center will take some time, we therefore drove to the car park at the Illerstadion which is free. There’s a bus station down the street but especially in the evening, you hardly have any bus connections.
