Mittenwald is famous for its violin-making industry. It has a violin-making museum.

The magnificent Apls forms a grand background for this quaint little town.

Again, as in Rothenburg (see my Heidelburg page) or anywhere else, iron-work signs are typical in Germany.
They are simply made into a fine art pieces.

I think it is a little boy, with beautiful and the most innocent eyes. Happy and dandy, sitting in his own little wagon hauled by his mother. How lovely!

One of its major streets, sided by a water 'canal', which provides a very soothing sound and a cool feeling in a hot summer day.

"Oriel"

Oriel is the English word that I learnt while traveling in Germany.

Oriel seems to be a very popular architecure character in Germany, you see them every where in various shapes and colors. It usually provides a sitting area, but with a 'wide angle' view.

Was told he was the one who introduced violin-making technology into the town.

Germans spend tremendous amount of time making their houses beautiful, tidy, neat and clean.

Gorgeous geraniums are hung outside of the windows from all over the places.
