Conveniently near the city center

Fairly sparse facilities but only a 10 minute walk from the main shopping area in the city center. Rooms are tiny, with a bed, small desk and chair, a small TV (but no English language channels whatsoever, not even CNN), and there is no room service. The worst thing is that this hotel is noisy! I'm talking doors banging and clanging loudly whenever someone gets out of the lift or goes into their room. It's certainly loud enough to wake you up, because the walls are pretty thin. There is a restaurant within the hotel but I didn't use it. It was overpriced for what it was, but then again I was there during a "convention week" when every hotel in Munich pretty much doubles their price.
