I was working in this hotel as night auditor.
There are several good sides and bad sides as well, when you stay in this hotel.
Unique Quality: The hotel is situated in the 11th-13th floor of the former Olympc village of 1972.
In 1972 the building was finished within a short time, built completely by concrete.
There was a time when people thought, these houses are a good investment, but nowadays people try to get rid of them by all means or rent them.
In the whole area strong winds will occur and then you cannot walk certain ways without beeing blown away.
that is even worse in winter, when the wind is icy and the streets are frozen.
The hotel-guests will nostly not realize that, as they have a large parking in the underground, but they might get a strange feeling, when they have to walk through the spooky garage and its long streets.
Directions: In the Olympic village, opposite of the BMW-4cylindre building and not for from the Olympic tower
My friend and I are planning to see Bayern Munich-Arsenal on the 22nd of February in Munich's Olympic Stadium.
I'm just pondering as to whether it is safe to see the game as I'm Indian and my friend is Chinese.
Without stereotyping Germany as "racist," and "neo-nazi," I know that during Fussball Games people can be quite rowdy, violent, etc
So would you recommend me and my friend see the game?
Also aree there any hotels near the Olympic Stadium?
I think if you support Bayern Muenchen you both will be very welcome.
I think its pity to see how news and media make people understand total wrong picture of a country or this sport. I think the only worry you will have is to get the tickets for the game. Beside that I think only very small amount of supporters are troublemakers, and if there will be fights, they are usually outside the stadium, in the streets and the pubs between people and supporters that look for the fights and not just the average football fans. So in general there will be no problems what’s so ever to go and see football match and show support for your team. The news and media makes things look much worst then they are.
There is a hotel just about 500 meters off the stadium :
Four Points by Sheraton Munchen Olympiapark
