    This is a typical Holiday Inn, which could be anywhere in the world. But it's got good size rooms, bathrooms are not luxurious but are clean, well-finished and well equipped. Overall the hotel is clean and well-maintained and it runs efficiently. The staff were friendly, all we spoke with were fluent in English.

    Room rates vary enormously so check around with travel agents and with on-line hotel sites.

    The most important thhing is the location. It's just a few minutes easy stroll into the historic centre of the city, Marienplatz, the town halls, museums and all the restaurants and shops in that area.

    One word of warning, something I haven't noticed in other hotels - there's a Euro5 charge for room service. The room service menu has the usual dishes such as salads, burgers, sandwiches. Prices range from Euro8 to 10.50...plus the Euro5 extra charge.

    • I don't remember much about this hotel. Well, they all blur into one eventually. The rooms were a little small. But they did have room service. I guess it's reasonably close to the center of town. But from my perspective the best thing was that it's located very close to an underground shopping arcade which houses a large supermarket that's open until about 8pm. In other words, you can buy cheap beer and spirits (and chocolate) to your heart's content, at the same price or even less than the airport stores.

    • Perfect accomodation coming from the airport (it's just above a subway station) and very close to city centre, the rooms are clean and fully equipped for a business trip or for a pleasure stay (hair dryer, TV set, internet connection pay-for-use, etc.).
    Average quality breakfast and restaurant, but there are many places around to eat (and anyway you can be in Marienplatz with a 10 minutes walk or with 2 subway stops).
    Very close to Isar river (with cycling an running path along the shore) and to the museum district.

    Pillow menu to choose your pillow among 5 possibilities, close to the centre but with still affordable price

    This is a great four star hotel located near all the fun sites of Munich (i.e. Marienplatz, Hofbrauhaus, etc.)

    The hotel has an indoor pool, lounge, pets are allowed and of course, there's a restaurant.

    The rooms have a/c, alarm clocks, TVs...the usual four star amenities.

    You will be very pleased with their professional approach and the atmosphere of this hotel and the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable.

    Excellent continental buffet breakfast with eggs and bacon. :^)

    The room is spacious (40 sq.metres) and with comptemporary decor.Bath room has nice and functional tap fittings.The hot n cold water mixer switch is superb(Grohe brand) ensuring the required water temperature.
    The rates on weekends are giveaway at Eur 64 for 14 days advance booking excluding breakfast.Alternatively you can book 3 days in advance ,include breakfast for 2 at Eur 85 nett.

    The location is very convenient as the S Bahn station is in the basement.It is only 2 stops to Marienplatz and 3 stops to the central train station. You can take a 30 minutes walk along River Isar to the centre of action,Marienpl
    The views are great from the window as we can see some Gothic churches and other buildings of Marienplatz.
    Breakfast spread is wide and generous as with all Hols. Inn chain...I have yet to be disappointed.

    Very Clean room, large clean bathroom. Wonderful views of city. Surrounded by restaurants, museums, & Nightlife. People at the front desk spoke many different languages and were very helpful with directions on S-bahn U-bahn. Pretty swimming pool in basement level. Spices restaurant on Main Lobby level which also has Bar. Internet available at 35.00 Euro a day, Laundry service, Mini fridge. Avoid it though, unless you want to pay 7.20 euro for a water. There's a snack shop open 24/7 next door with a variety of goodies. I would definitely stay again when its warmer. I would also recommend this hotel to all. Their were a variety of people staying there Familes with small children, Families with older children, Couples, people traveling alone etc...
