...in the middle of nowhere !
This Holiday Inn may be comfortable when driving from the Autobahn to Munich, but less so when arriving by air or train.
Nevertheless the hotel is not the newest one, yet refurbished. It offers the usual (small) Holiday Inn rooms, a very good bed, nonsmoker rooms and -floors, no amenities at all, but a clean bathroom with tub, a good shower, soap- and shampoo-dispenser, minibar and a flat TV.
Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, the hotel has a good restaurant, bar and during the summer-months a "Bavarian Beergarden". It's small backgarden needs urgently some refurbishment.
Unique Quality: An easy accessability from the southern Autobahn Highway may be an advantage; it is less so, if one arrives via air or train (Taxi from main station around EUR 20,-) or a long ride with the Subway plus 300 meters walk.
Warning:
Once on your floor, there are practically no signs showing the next exit, let alone the way to the staircase or to the elevators. Finding your way down to reception may be difficult, not to think of an electrical breakdown or a minor fire. So memorize your way out !!

Great Choice
We had no idea where to stay so I picked this place and we were very happy with our choice. Great location , 5 min walk to a u-bahn station. Clean rooms, friendly people, Great breakfast buffet . Had a great time in the bar with the bartenders/waitresses. Very quiet area. Will definately stay again whenever in Munich.

Great location!!
This place was 2nd last on our trip, and they were certainly saving the best till last! Excellent hotel, obviusly a well recongnised chain in Holiday Inn.
Unique Quality: Walking distance to the Underground. They have a 'pillow menu' and I chose the hardest one and it still was as flat as a pancake!

A smarter than average holiday inn with the usual refinements, surprised at the reasonable cost during Oktoberfest! Good breakfast too
