Good location
Hotels in München are often a bit on the expensive side for being affordable Germany. This meant that I had to look around a bit as costs often escalate when you need an extra bed for a child etc. At the same time, staying near central stations is a no no to my husband who loathes seedy districts, so the budget hotels there were off the list (even though we now know that München has a very calm station area for being a city).
Atlanta is run by a German-Finnish couple and I must say I expected more from it. I had requested an en suite room, but we were given a room which had its own toilet, but which was in the corridor, so basically anyone could have used it even if no one seemed to do. Moreover, the toilet was leaking so it was a shoes on affair every time we went as there was a small river in there.
As for the room, it was spacious and had everything we could have wanted, but the beds creaked so much that they woke our daughter up when we turned in them in our sleep! I have never heard anything like it. We were wondering what possible neighbours thought we were doing in there :)))
So no, not worth the money, but if you want something near the city centre, in a quiet shopping street and away from the station area, why not. It was in no way an awful experience, more a "giggle" one. They also have a hotel called Monaco.

Good during Oktoberfest
I stayed at Hotel Atlanta during Weisn 2002.
Its a bit expensive compared to other hostels during Oktoberfest.
The had good rooms and good breakfast.
Its not too far from Munich Hbf.
Unique Quality: Good breakfast. No curfew. Quiet room
