Cheap Accommodation in Muncich
WARNING!
If you are thinking of staying here please note that this hotel is not a safe and secure place to stay. As we were checking in there were police in and out of the hotel, I think there had been a break-in a little while before. The room doors look like they have been repaired after being forced open. The front door is never locked and as reception is in the cafe anyone is free to wander in and out.
If you do stay there please do not leave any valuables in the room.

Hotel Mariandl
I think I paid about 100DM a night, so about €50
Unique Quality: A wonderfully quaint hotel, over a café bar, where the music and chat wafts up to you at night. It's old fashioned, you can almost imagine gentlemen in periwigs having rendezvous there with their paramours (I'm just a romantic at heart) It's within walking distance of the station, or you can get a bus to Beethovenplatz, a couple of yards away, but it's in a leafy area, just around the corner from lots of private clinics...so quiet and peaceful. You go downstairs to the café for a buffet breakfast, which is wonderful..especially the chocolate chip muffins..mmm

A wonderfully quaint hotel, over a café bar, where the music and chat wafts up to you at night.
