If you plan to go to visit Munich, do consider about visiting there during the X'mas period. They have a really good X'mas market and is definitely worth a visit. (plenty of good snacks and X'mas goods~)

I am desperately trying to buy 1 ticket for the Bayern Munich game on November 26th, 2010. It is the day I fly into Munich and the only home game while I am there. I am getting no results through the bayern munchen website and all other websites are charging around $200 and up for the cheapest seat. Does anyone have any ideas how I could get a ticket ? Does anyone know anyone willing to sell a ticket to that game ? Please help. I have to see them play when I am there. Thanks !!
Hy,
1) Bayern-Eintracht Frankfurt is scheduled Saturday 27 but the match fixtures are usually not confirmed by the Bundesliga until a few weeks before the match. Matches usually take place on fridays at 8.30 pm, saturdays at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm, sundays at 3.30 pm or 5.30pm.
2) The match is a price category B: fares from 15€ to 60€. 200$ the cheaper ticket on ticketone, ticketworld, seatwave ecc. is a robbery!!!
3)Now it is too early but I suggest you: go on the Bayern website, register then purchase tickets online. www.fcbayern.t-com.de/
Hope this helps
Ciao, Marco
You can already send the club a request for a ticket - but you have to create an account before this works.
https://tickets.fcbayern.de/InternetverkaufAnfragen/eventlist.aspx
You can also call:
+49 (0)89 - 69931-333
You should also keep an idea on their ticket stock market where season ticket holders sell tickets for games they do not intend to attend.

Games with ** are not finally scheduled yet - and tickets only available for the first game of the season at the moment.
As the previous poster said, it is not finalised yet on which day of the weekend the game takes place. In the primary stage the fixtures are given out for the weekend only. You will see that the game you want to see is scheduled for the weekend only, not for a certain day. This is finalised when the major TV station has decided on its live coverage.
Thank you both for your responses. I have registered on the website and I will keep checking the website. I as looked at VIAGOGO (a ticket exchange advertised on the website) and the only tickets they have available right now are for the first game (as you said)and the prices are really good. So I think I will watch that website also to see when the tickets go on sale. And my mistake, it is the 27th game I am interested in. I'm just so excited about attending I would like to make sure I can get tickets asap and not worry about it. Thanks for your help :D
Thanks everyone. I got the ticket !!!! I'm so excited ! On the Bayern Munich website there is something called "viagogo" a place to buy and sell your tickets. So every day I checked it sometimes 3 or 4 times a day waiting for that game to go on sale. Well it paid off and I got a great ticket at a great price. See you at the game. Anyone going and want to meet up for a drink afterward let me know. PROST !
Well done! As you see, patience pays off.
I have been in Munich last week but not for the football. Bayern started the season in their usual style: winning goal in extra time while the other team was better... Very predictable!
Enjoy the game. I will attend a Stuttgart game while in Germany.

Munich is a modern place. Don't worry about any hassles with staying in touch. There's an Easy Everything Internet place just across from the Hauptbahnhof (these places are all over Europe and offer the best price and good quality equipment). The postal system is also extremely efficient and fast. Most of my postcards made it back to the States within 5 to 7 days.
On sundays, many Munich museums only charge a symbolic admission fee of 1,- € (which is laughable cheap). So if you are on a tight budget, you might decide to visit the museums you are interested in on a sunday.
...is being celebrated every year on the 2nd weekend of June! There are lots of stages with international performances from Country music to Gospel choirs or Blues and Jazz bands.
2003 Munich was celebrating its 845th birthday!
If you want to go on a long walk or hike in a beautiful lake and peat landscape with a view on the Alps then chose the Osterseen. These lakes are located at the southern tip of the “Starnberger See” (Lake Starnberg). The area is declared as a nature preserve and excellent for bird watching. If you go on a sunny week day you will not meet too many people. If in summer also swimming is allowed in some areas of the many lakes. The landscape changes between lake shorelines, beautiful mixed forests, peat and reed areas and rolling meadows. The area is also nice to take a blanket, a good book and some picnic food to spend a day in the sun, just chilling.
The main parking area for hikes, walks and strolls around the lakes is west of the village of Iffeldorf. Take the car on Highway A-95 to the exist of Iffeldorf and follow the signs to this village.
