You've heard it here from me before. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG IN SELECTING AN IBIS HOTEL. I have stayed in dozens over the years, but this one in cental Munich is one of the best. Also has a good restaurant and a great bar, open late. I tend to fall into the stinky backpacker category while abroad, but even the most demanding business person would find these hotels (and this one in particular) to be well above average. Better make your reservation in advance...these amenities and location at the price are not easy to find anywhere.

Large and modern rooms, baths. Helpful multilingual staff. Very interesting and diverse mix of travellers who like to congregate at the hotel bar before and after a day/night on the town. GREAT LOCATION near the train station and everything else.
