Neues Rathaus
The building that strucked me very much. The most impressive place in the city in my opinion is Marienplatz and Neues Rathaus. The building works lasted in 1867-1908 in neo-gothic style. The tower of the city hall is 85 meters high.

myself and friend are coming to munich end november thursday till saturday then traveling to nuremberg, which would be the cheapest train ticket to purchase from munich to nuremberg, is there one that would cover from airport to central munich as well as nuremberg
First check
http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe (English)
to get a timetable, connections and fares.
If you book well in advance, you may get discounted tickets, which, however, are then only valid for the particular train you chose.
Regular tickets aren't linked to a specific train.
There's also Bayern-Ticket, valid for the entirety of Bavaria, incl. Salzburg, Austria. This is a restricted ticket, valid only on regional trains and mass transit in cities leaving from 9:00 a.m and later. For further information on the Bayern Ticket, please check this page:
http://www.toytowngermany.com/wiki/Bayern_ticket
It is not possible to go from Munich Airport (MUC) to Nuremberg directly as you would first have to take the commuter train (S-Bahn) to Munich Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) and then change for a train to Nuremberg.
While you could purchase a ticket from MUC to Nuremberg, I understand you want to spend a couple of days in Munich as well, so this would not be feasible.
Buying your ticket online from bahn.de is well worthwhile....there are some very good advance fares, but they are limited in availability. Munich>Nurnberg in November has 19 euro one-way fares available.
You get an eticket, which you print out and present to the guard with the card you used to pay.....it is absolutely essential that you take the same card with you. Or you can have tickets posted to you for a small extra fee.
When you use bahn.de type in 'nuernberg' to account for the umlaut, otherwise it will not be recognised. My preferred link is:

The best deals are the mini group day tickets for local public transport.
MVV partner day ticket from the airport to Munich (EUR 18,80 for 2-5 persons). And the Bayern Ticket (EUR 28,00 for 2-5 persons) from Munich to Nuremberg. These tickets cover regional trains, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams and buses. Long distance trains like IC/EC or ICE are not covered.
DB timetable
http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en
From: MUC
To: Munich
To: Nuremberg
and select as means of transport "only local transport". DB timetable will show the Bayern Ticket as a savings fares option. But does not show MVV tickets.

The town’s charming location on the edge of the Alps is impressive: framed in by imposing high mountain peaks and an idyllic lake district, at an altitude of 800 – 1200 meters above sea level, thus making it Bavaria’s town at the highest elevation, the ideal starting point for visiting the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau only four kilometers away or the Wies Church (29 km).
Munich is known as one of Europe's greenest cities.
The Englischer Garten is Munich's biggest city park. In fact, it is supposed to be Europe's biggest city park and often compared to New York City's Central Park.
Just that they don't have many huge beer gardens in the Central Park :)
The giant Englischer Garten also boasts lakes, rivers, streams and all kinds of leisure activities. It offers fantastic views of the historic skyline.
This is surely one of Munich's most favorite places and always relatively crowded, especially in the southern part.
Hohoenschloss panarama MUNICH is the capitol of Bavaria and bavaria is to die for...the visuals in this entire area are breathtaking. This pic was taken as a monster snowstorm swept the valley. One minute it was relatively clear...10 minutes later this picture would have been a sheet of white!
Close to Schleissheim palace complex and if you are fond of aviation history or airplanes you MUST visit this place. Flugwerft air and space museum is a branch of Deutsches Museum and holds a nice collection of more than 55 historical airplanes of all time not only german ones into two hughe hangars. Tickets can be taken just here or even at Deutsches Museum for you have the choice to use it some days after buying it.
Deutsches museum has an airplane collection but available space isn't enough and there you can see many of the older planes and casts. The collection here is a complement to that one and, along with old models you will find most of the most modern ones. For you to have an idea, you will find here, for example: Fokker DVII, Fieseler 156 Storch, Heinkel 111, Dornier Do24, Antonov An2, Mig 15, Mig 21, Mc Donnell Douglas F4 Phantom, F86 Sabre, Lockheed T33, Lockheed F106 Starfighter, Saab JA35 Draken, Mig 23, Dornier 31, etc. You will also find helicopters like Bell UH-1, Kamov Ka26, Sikorsky S58 or Alouette 2.
As I'm spanish it was a surprise for me finding here two models brought from my country to this collection for they were former planes of our air forces or rescue services. They are restored with their original spanish marks despite both are german models: the Heinkel 111 and Dornier Do24. In fact, the famous film "Battle of Britain" was shot using the original planes of spanish air force which were still operational in that moment so I think this Heinkel 111 may have been an actor in the film.
