Where to buy the Cherry flavored liquor "Quickie"

by charlietuna22

Hello,
Does anyone know where I can buy the small bottles of the cherry flavored liquor "Quickie" in Munich? I bought some small bottles in a beer tent at the Volksfest in Stuttgart a few years ago but can not find it where I live in AZ.
Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I am actually looking for a place in Munich as I will be there next week for the Oktoberfest. I was just going to wander around into grocery or liquer stores to see what I could find.

Travel Tips for Munich

Friendly People Great Beer

by stevehallam

The Beer Festival. We spent the day in the Hofbrauhouse tent - it was magnificent The people in the tents were so freindly. where esle in the world can you get 8,000 people in one tent, drunk, happy and singing.
even if you accidentaly bumped into someone, they were more likely to smile and give you a beer than to complain!
Fantastic

Altes Rathaus

by bugulma

Altes Rathaus is situated in the same square as Neues Rathaus. It was built in present view on the remains of the old building in 1474 by Jorg von Halsbach. In WW II the city hall was damagedand was reconstructed in 1953-1958. In 1972 the ity hall tower was built in the style that it had in XV century. The toys museum is inside nowadays.

Hohenloherstrasse

by bugulma

When I watched the Olympia Stadium, the next objext on my list was Schloss Nymphenberg. When I looked at the map I realized that I could get it by walk along Hohenloherstrasse. I really recommend you to do that, to go to the palace along this street. The little chanel goes with you during your way.

Not in the immediate vicinity...

by lorigirl

Not in the immediate vicinity of Munich, just about 100-150 km south west, in the three-state-corner of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, live the prettiest and happiest cows in the world, grazing on smooth and evergreen landscape. And who won't be happy living in Alps? Remember that Milka chocolate cow? Isn't she adorable?

Schleißheim Palaces And Park

by Kathrin_E

The palaces of Schleißheim are situated in a suburb on the Northern edge of Munich. The complex consists of three palaces (Altes Schloss, Neues Schloss, Schloss Lustheim) surrounded by a huge baroque park. They were built as a summer retreat by the Electors of Bavaria in the 17th and 18th century.

The visit to the park and courtyards is free while a fee applies to enter the palace buildings.

How to get there: S-Bahn to "Oberschleißheim", then 10 minutes walk (follow the signs).
Schleißheim is situated along the S-Bahn route to Munich Airport, halfway between airport and city. This makes a walk in the park a suitable way of spending a few hours' layover at Munich airport. Getting into the city centre from the airport takes almost an hour - too long for a layover - while the S-Bahn ride to Schleißheim only takes 23 minutes.
