Parsberg Hotel

My favourite area of Munich is Odeansplatz. This large open square behind mariensplatz is especially nice at nighttime when the buildings are lit up. On the corner of the square at the entrance to the Hofgarten is an old fashioned cafe resteraunt called Tambosi. This is a very old cafe dating from before the war and has been completely refurbished in the style of the 20's. Its great to just sit out on its terrace with a relaxing beer or a coffee and watch people walking around the square.
