A little bit loud, with heavily shutting doors. Most rooms share a key acess hallway door, and bathroom. Some upper floor rooms share excellent views with professional offices across the street, which I found refreshing rather than disturbing. You can always draw the curtains. The major roadworks at the east end of Dultstrasse undertaken in October 2006 should be finished by now.
The room was basic, with a difficult-to-operate TV, unexciting linoleum flooring and a suspiciously flimsy 1960s era armoire, but who's in München to stay in their room?
Unique Quality: The continental breakfasts were always satisfying - and the croissants and egg dishes were especially tasty. Frau Sinzinger is a cordial hostess, and her local regulars warm up the cafe in the morning.
Directions: Off of Sendlingerstrasse, a 45 second walk east from the Altes Hackerhaus, one of my favorite places to drink and dine.
