cheap, oldfashioned & very central
This hotel is a bit oldfashioned, but also quite cheap and I had booked a room there through www.boooking.com.
Nuernberg has plenty of fairies and conventions all year long and while most of the modern and comfortable hotels will be fully booked out then, some rooms of this hotel will stay over simply because not all of their rooms will have toilet and shower inside.
I had booked a singleroom with running water for 87 euros total for 2 nights (2nd night was more expensive because of a fairy) When I arrived they could not find the booking and I was lucky that I got a room with shower for the same price.
Unique Quality: When booking in this hotel ask for a QUIET Room facing the backside instead of Luitpoldgasse, where a nightclub was running loud music untill 5.00am.
Breakfast was OK, cheese, coldcuts, muesli, rolls and various organic breads, eggs and even some Weisswurst, 3 different juices...
