Crailsheim by Nemorino
Crailsheim is a town of about 32,000 people on the railroad line between Stuttgart and Nürnberg. The first mention of Crailsheim in any document was in the year 1136.In 1945 the center of Crailsheim was almost completely destroyed by air raids and ground battles at the end of the Second World War. From 1952 to 1993 soldiers of the US Army were stationed here, in McKee Barracks.
I only spent one afternoon in Crailsheim, to do a presentation at the Adult Education Center. (It went fine, thanks. Nice group of teachers).
