Will be staying at the following hotels and was wondering if anyone has any experience with a stay there or is familiar with the hotels.
Landgasthof Zum Rappen in Creglingen;
Hotel Waldmann in Schwangau/Alterschrofen;
Hotel Wittelsbach in Berchesgaden.
Appreciate any and all information.

They have over a million reviews of nearly any hotel you can think of. It's a good resource for hotel info.
You can also type the hotel names into the VT Search Window above and scroll the next window down to Keyword Search to see if there are already reviews here on your hotels.
An alternative to that is typing the name of each town into the VT Search Window, leave the other window at the default Destination Search. When you get to the Travel Pages for each city, click on Hotels and Accomodations Tips (on the left side of your screen). You might even find something you like better. 8^)
In general my experience with German accommodation is spotlessly clean and correct. And always friendly.
Have you looked at the photos of the rooms at Zum Rappen and Wittelsbach? They look excellent.
Check out the houses with frescoes by Franz Zwink (18th century) that are named after fairy-tale characters 'Hanzel & Gretel House' & 'Little Red Riding Hood House'. (I don't seem to be able to find the photos in my album, will try to upload them as soon as I found those pictures.)
Spent that summer working in a hotel whilst the locals were performing the 'passionspiele' ..... this came about back in 1633 when the black death was raging over Europe.... the plague was brought into the village and killed 1/3 of its people....the locals pledged to re-enact the suffering, death and resurrection of jesus christ every 10 yrs if its people were spared. The first play was performed in 1634 in the graveyard surrounded by freshly dug graves of all the plague victims... After that no-one else died and the play is performed by oberammergau locals every ten years.... Never got to see it myself (to my shame...my one day off a week was too precious to sit through 8hrs or so in a theatre) so have to do that one day.....
