Every second year Oberstdorf hosts a skiflying contest in its huge skiflying arena, the Heini-Klopfer-Skiflugschanze. It is impressive to see the crazy competitors jumping down there over 200 meters. If you are around there during the competition, I think it is a must-see! I have been at the qualification session, where there are not as many people as during the main competition.
