Four Points by Sheraton Munchen Olympiapark: A hotel high above of Munich

I was working in this hotel as night auditor between 1986 and 1989.
There are several good sides and some bad sides as well, when you stay in this hotel.

Unique Quality:
The hotel is situated in the 11th-13th floor of the former Olympc village of 1972.
(When you click on my pic, it is the part between the 2 red dots I made !)

In 1972 the building was finished within a short time, built completely by concrete.
There was a time when people thought, these houses are a good investment, but nowadays people try to get rid of them by all means or rent them.
In the whole area strong winds will occur and then you cannot walk certain ways without beeing - even im my heavy-weight-class - blown away.
that is even worse in winter, when the wind is icy and the streets are frozen.

The hotel-guests will nostly not realize that, as they have a large parking in the underground, but they might get a strange feeling, when they have to walk through the spooky garage and its empty , long streets.
