A cosy place, not far from St.Jacob basilica
The Burg Hotel in Rothenburg ob der Tauber is in the very back of the medieval town and most rooms of the hotel are facing the park of the former Dominican monastery, that is partly used today as the "Reichstadtmuseum" . The hotel is quite small with only about 15 large rooms and some suites. Click on my link below and take a look at their great web-page !
Unique Quality: This part of town is completely off the tourist-streams, although you may walk to the basilica within only 3 minutes. The hotel dates back to the 12th century and used to be a part of the monastery once.

Quiet hotel on the Wall
We had the pleasure on our first trip to Rothenburg to find this hotel. The hotel is located on the west wall and is in a very quiet area. The rooms are very quaint and some overlook a courtyard. Of course, breakfast is included with the cost of the room.
