Is the Bavaria-Ticket valid on the BOB train from Munich to Tegernsee? Thanks for the help!

Yes. Besides the regional DB trains the ticket covers the
- Bayerische Oberlandbahn (BOB)
- Hessische Landesbahn
- Regentalbahn
- Vogtlandbahn (only the routes in Bavaria)
- Erfurter Bahn (only the routes in Bavaria)
- Bayerischen Zugspitzbahn (only Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Grainau)
- Allgäu-Express (ALEX)
