Best Western Premier Hotel Rebstock, Würzburg, Germany - Reviews and Hotel Information

The Hotel Rebstock is said to be the best hotel in town. That being said, it costs around $225 per night which is more than it is worth. The rooms are small but clean with all the neccesary amenities: mini bar, tv, etc. The bathroom is nice except one has to watch his/her step as walking in and out of the tub is like climbing the Berlin-wall. (One of the more dangerous tub/showers I have ever encountered in my travels). The staff is friendly though they are not very knowledgeable or organized. The location is in the heart of the "old town" and the building itself is a restored private mansion. Though this is all very good, my problem is that this hotel needs a renovation. Even though it is clean it just seems a little run down. The carpets have some spots, the wallpaper is torn a bit. $225 per night is steep for what it is. However, it is still a "nice" hotel, and if in fact it is the best in the area, I recommend it.
