Excellent location
As soon as we decided to go to Bremen this summer I started looking for a hotel near the train station. The Courtyard by Marriot is right next to it, however, it was too expensive. But then I discovered a great deal and booked right away.We had a very nice stay. Our double was large, the bed had a very comfortable, hard mattress. Instead of a minibar there was a fridge. I thought this was much better.
Breakfast was an excellent buffet, with just about anything you could think of. There was even fresh waffle dough and an iron for those who liked to have fresh waffles for breakfast.
Breakfast was 18 Euro per person and I happened to notice twice that customers argued about this. It seems that they hadn't been aware that breakfast wasn't included in their rate,something which is unusual for Germany.
We were lucky as it was included in our special deal.
The price I give further down in this page is what we paid per person because of the special deal, their usual rate is much higher.
Despite its being right next to the train station it's very quiet- we never heard the trains.
Unique Quality: There was a fitness room with two treadmills where I tried to get rid of some of the calories from breakfast. While this was great fun it was in vain, as the calories from breakfast won easily.
