Go and visit the "Dom" Cathedral
by joernme
The "Dom" in Bremen is one of Germanies largest cathedrals, not as big and famous as the one in Cologne, but also of the rather impressive dimension. The towers are 98m high and can be climbed. The stairs are very steep, though, good workout..... On top you have a great view over city, harbour and suburbs.
Knight Roland
by tini58de
Bremen’s statue of Knight Roland is the largest (and best known) out of 26 throughout Germany. With 5.55m in height, he is Bremen’s tallest citizen, symbolising civic rights and privileges on its present site since 1404.
Bremen has been added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. The Rathaus (city hall) and the statue of Roland on Bremen’s Market Square are now World Heritage sites!
If you are interested, go on a virtual tour of the Bremen town hall!
