Bessel's head

Somewhere in the city center (don't remember exactly where, but could be close to Lloyd Passage) is a monument of Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel, an astronomer and mathematician. He was an assistant at an observatory near Bremen.
Enchilada
by hokeypokey about Enchilada
A lively place and very crowded on weekend nights especially during their happy hour from 7pm to 8pm (Cocktails). They have a second happy hour for margartitas later the night (11pm?). It´s a good place to start your night. Cocktails of all kind, Nachos,...
Beck's Brewery
by Maria81
Where?
Am Deich
What?
Beck's is one of Bremen's most famous exports - maybe even beating the Musicians! In addition to getting a drink (and yes, I am partial to this one :) ) you can join one of the several daily guided tours where you'll learn about the brand and its history, all the machinery and of course, how the beer itself is made.
Most of the tours are in German but there is a daily English language one early in the afternoon - about 2pm
Rathaus (Town Hall)
by Childish
This is the most beautiful town hall I've seen in Germany and no doubt it (together with the Roland statue) is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
It is more than 600 years old now. It was built in the period 1405-1409. For its architecture are 'responsible': Lueder von Bentheim - an architect from Bremen who renovated the town hall and built the renaisance facade to the market square; Hans Vredeman de Vries, Hendrick Goltzius and Jacob Floris whose designs were used; Gabriel von Seidl.
