Also, you should go and see the Schnoor (it is the oldest part of Bremen with some houses of the 13. century). There are very nice little lanes to pass. It´s nice to see the way of living of people in northern Germany in the middle age.Another places you have to go are of course the Böttcherstraße, the old Town Hall, the Cathedral, and the old Market place.
But I think that there is missing a very important borough in Bremen that hasn´t been described by anyone else here. It´s the borough that is just called 'Viertel' and it is situated along the river 'Weser', near down town. Here are many little streets where you can see the typical houses of Bremen (Bremer Haus). The architecture students in Bremen have even the posibility to get specialized to this kind of houses that only exist in Bremen!! The 'Viertel' is also the borough where you can find the most different population in Bremen: There are middle class families but also punks or other alternative people, it´s a very good mixture! The nightlife is nice, there are many bars, pubs and discos , the 'Goethe-Theater´ , the 'Kunsthalle´ (a museum), cinemas and other cultural places! I think that you don´t have to miss it when visiting Bremen!!
