What about:
http://www.city-hotel-bremen.de/City-Hotel-Bremen-Main-english.html
http://www.ibishotel.com/gb/hotel-1442-ibis-bremen-altstadt/index.shtml
http://www.mercure.com/gb/hotel-0879-mercure-hotel-columbus-bremen/index.shtml

These are all centrally located and close to the main station/ old town. The Mercure also has got a special "2 night getaway" rate that could be interesting for you.

Cheers,
Elena

The Intercity Hotel is located right at the main station. From there it's just about 1 km to the old town of Bremen where you'll find plenty of restaurants and pubs/ bars.
It's easy walking distance to the old town. But if you decide to use public transport don't forget that it's free of charge with your Intercity Hotel room ID card.

Travel Tips for Bremen

Bremer Haeuser

by joernme

In many parts of the city you will find complete streets or at least still parts of it lined with typical Bremen houses. It's a special style well know among architects in Germany. I do not know too many details about them from the technical side, but could tell immediately if this is a typical old Bremish house or not. And they are beautiful!!! I wish I had one of those, but unfortunately, they are all very expensive by now or need essential renovation: The houses are from the second half of the 19th century. Such a large and intact structure of such houses from that period in Europe only can be found still in London and Bonn.

WORPSWEDE - artists village

by Sininen

In the early 1900's Rainer Rilke and Paula Becker lived in the rural artist colony of Worpswede, Germany. Today you can visit this lovely place, a house surrounded by most lush garden and imagine how the life of those two talented artists was.

Roland

by actualtourist

The big statue of Roland in Bremen Markt is the symbol of Bremen’s independence and freedom. Bremen people believe Bremen will remain free and independent as long as he stands there. If you are lucky, you will also come across Roland reading a newspaper in the streetcar.

Windmill Am Wall

by Colzy

This historic windmill of the classic Dutch variety houses a quaint little restaurant and presents a welcome addition to the Bremen landscape.

The restaurants opening times are:
Oct-May 10.30am-11pm
Jun-Sept 9.30am-midnight

Looks very nice from day and by night.

Bremen Town Musicians

by Leipzig

The donkey - dog - cat - cock pyramid was made by the story of Grimm Brothers' "Bremen Misicians". The statue was made by sculptor Gerhad Marcks in 1951.
