B&B/Hostel in Hamburg

by krassimir71

Hello all,
I was told that near the mosque (its only one in Hamburg) there is a B&B or Hostel or it is attached to the mosque or a place to stay that belong to the mosque. I will be gald if someone know something (address, prices, or any other infos), because i have hard time finding information for this place to stay overnight.
Thank you in advance.

Actually, there's quite a number of mosques in Hamburg with Imam Ali Mosque being the most important.

I suppose it would be best to direct your request to the Islamic Centre in Hamburg:

Travel Tips for Hamburg

Bahnhofsmission/Travellers Aid in Hamburg

by nepalgoods

"Our mission is simple: to lend an ear and give help to everyone coming to us. At Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Main Station), Harburg and Altona we supprort people in the ove with information and assistance when embarking and disembarking trains or making connections. With rooms to rest in or stay the night. With wheelchairs or trolleys. Or by accompanying minors travelling alone. We help in personla crises: friends lost. Nowhere to sleep. No telephone. Torn clothing. Robbed. Injured. Sick. Weak. Language problems. And we give advice and directions in emergency situations: homelessness. Drug addiction. Desparation. Suicidal tendencies.

The bahnhofsmission is there for you, day and night."

This is the official text of the Bahnhofsmission in Hamburg, where I volunteer and help about 2 to 3 times a month.

Museumshafen

by tini58de

In Neumühlen/Övelgönne you can find the Museumshafen (museum harbor). It is just a little marina type place with a couple of old boats and ships there. I am not even sure, if you have to pay to get onto them, I just remember going there every once in awhile and usually having some cake and coffee there....!

You can either walk from the Altona train station, or take a bus or the boat to Neumühlen.

Lubeck to Hamburg

by barryg23

As our flight arrived in Lubeck, we spent a day exploring here before travelling on to Hamburg. There are regular trains every hour between the cities, it costs only 9.50 for a singl ticket and the journey takes 45 minutes.

You better don't go

by nepalgoods about Friesenkeller

This restaurant is a very big and welknown restaurant, where they serve loca Nortehrn German menues. I have only been there once. It is very expensive. The staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. The food served did not show any creative structure. It was just very boring served local cuisine. The best of this restaurant is the location at Jungfernstieg and Neuer Wall.
