Hamburg's worst Campsite

Alright, in fairness to the Campsite, if you're travelling with a caravan, go there by all means. It's in a nice enough area (about 20 minutes by public transport from town), and there are some shops around too. But if you are using a tent, don't go there. most of the ground is gravel / stones, and the one site they have that could be used for pitching a tent didn't have one blade of grass growing on it... and you have to pay almost as much for one tent and one person as it costs to stay in the youth hostel in town (which includes breakfast).
Comparison: 13 Euro's for camping, 19 Euro's for the hostel.
They do also have guest rooms (kinda like a B&B)

Unique Quality: k, um... no great views, no pool, communal shower (to be expected though), small restaurant, communal lounge with TV, take away down the road... thats about it.

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
