Don't Let The Facade Put You Off

I've no idea why this hotel gets such poor write-ups on booking.com as I found it ideal for my purposes, being close to both the railway and bus stations. OK the building is a bit dated, more the sort of place you'd expect to find in the former East Berlin, but my room was spacious, well-furnished and spotlessly clean. Reception and breakfast staff were unanimously friendly and helpful and whilst the area is a sort of minor "red light" district with some very interesting little bars I had no problems whatsoever. Even in the very early hours I never felt in any way uneasy or threatened.

Little pluses included perfect WiFi, relative cheapness, excellent breakfast and I'd have no hesitation about staying here again.
