The service is extremely friendly and casual. Cable TV, parking, some pets are allowed. A continental breakfast is included. Located near the central station, the Hotel Village is a definite recommendation if you want to stay in the city in a truly unique hotel.
Unique Quality: The hotel Village is definitely one of Hamburg's hotel highlights. Once a bordello, today it is a wonderful and charming hotel that has maintained much of its old charm. All of the rooms are decorated individually and many accessories and pieces of furniture have remained from the old days - movable mirrors over the beds, red felt on the walls and other things more reminiscent of a nightclub than your average hotel.
All the rooms are stylish and extra-ordinary, yet with the comfort one expects from a city hotel today. The rooms feature a bathroom and kingsize beds - with this kind of interior design, it's not hard to understand why the Hotel Village is a popular setting for photo shoots: the Playboy magazine, Verona Feldbusch, German model Anna Loos and the Carpenters, among others, have used the hotel as a backdrop for a photo shoot.
