Cruising Binnen-Alster and Aussen-Alster by globetrott
There are 2 different kinds of cruises of the Alster starting at Jungfernstieg : 1)The ordinary Alstercruise taking you across both lakes and taking about 1 hour.
Such a cruise will start every half hour and is 10 Euros.
Holders of the Hamburg-card get a reduction of 2 Euros !
ships are operated between 10.00a.m. and 06.00p.m. (March 25-Sep.25th)
and in september between 10.00a.m. and 05.00p.m.
in October between 11.00a.m. and 04.00p.m.
A special type of ship is the so-called "Alster-Cabrio" - see it on my last picture !
2) The Kanalfahrt will take you within 2 hours to both lakes and to a system of artificial canals with various extraordinarily beautiful and expensive villas.
These tours are 12,50 Euros (2 Euros reduction for H-card)
march 25th-april 29th: daily at 09.45a.m. + 12.45 + 03.45 p.m.
April 30th till Sep. 25th : 6 times daily
