I'm im organising a weekend trip of 14 peolpe to hamburg.
We are traveling with Ryanair, and wondered if getting taxi's from Lubeck airport, to Hamburg was a possabilty (instead of the 55min Ryanair bus), and if so how much it would roughly cots and which taxi firms where the best for this?
if anyone has got any information or advice it would be greatto hear from you.

As an alternative you could use the train with three Schleswig-Holstein-Tickets. One ticket is valid the whole day throughout the states of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg for up to 5 people and costs 30 €. with regard to the train option: I would advise against taking the train, at least if you need to transfer to Lübeck Hauptbahnhof for it. Depending on your time of arrival, the transfer to the central station may take almost exactly the same take it takes to get to Hamburg. Lübeck has a couple of very neuralgic places that act as traffic bottlenecks during rush hours in the morning and afternoon. I once stayed in the large Federal Police barracks that are not so far away from the airport and had to be taxied to another police facility on the opposite end of town -- a total nightmare! The drive took almost an hour due to clogged up roads. Even when the roads are clear, transfer to the train station might well take 25 minutes. I am not sure this can be avoided by using another train station.
Note: The airport does have a railway station of its own but it is on the line to Lüneburg. For going to Hamburg you'd need to take a train to Lübeck Hbf and wait there for a train to HH.
Taking a bus to Hamburg seems feasible. Question will be thus if those links recommended above might lead to a better offer for your party.
If you are in Hamburg it would be a shame not visiting a town Lubeck. It takes about 50 minutes to get there by train. Train leaves from Hauptbahnhof every hour. I went there to visit the first German ice and snow sculpture festival and it was really fantastic! Please take a look at my Ice World travelogue!
I have been obsessed with the sport of team handball for years. Most Americans have no idea what it is. It is NOT handball as most people know it (bouncing a ball against a wall).
It is a very exciting hybrid sport: part Water Polo (without the water), part Rugby (without the scrum) and part basketball (without the basket). You have to see it to enjoy it's fast paced action.
I travelled about an hour and a half outside of Hamburg to "Lubeck Travermunde" which is a very attractive, tidy seaside resort town. There I went to a local community sports venue on the Steenkamp and watched the final Ladies' amateur game of the season. Looks like the home-team won handily.
I would recommend this slice of Lubeck for its own sake, too.
This is a truly unique place. One of very few chamber operas there are in Europe and the only one owned privately.
They often play lesser known works by great composers.
Their staging of the operas really is fine. In the audience you also feel the pleasure it is for the artists to perform there.
You can even book a four course opera dinner with your tickets! So, there you can have a complete evening of opera and theme related dishes with your friends.
An outpost of the Hofbr?uhaus in Munich. Has all you would expect, good beer and on Sundays a brunch from 10 - 15:00. Mrs Bonio more than happy with vegetarian food on the menu too.
An enjoyable lunch.
Just walk through the city. There are soo many things to see, like railway station, the old houses, townhall place, footpathzone, Gänsemarkt and Hanseviertel, the parks from the north to the western side or the Speicherstadt (picture).
