Awesome mountainside location on a lake. Indoor mineral spa pool (heated). Most (if not all) rooms have balconies. Great restaurant. Summer recreation includes hiking, biking, watersports. Winter has skiing (downhill and x-country), snowboarding, toboggans, ice skating (if lake is frozen), hiking... Also, convenient bus service into the town of Schliersee at the base of the mountains.
