About 500 years ago, the Gerberhaus was a home in the tanner's quarter, but today it's a gem of a cozy inn that's big on local charm, but small on the wallet. The inn has about twenty rooms tucked away in a zig-zag maze of small hallways among three floors. Our room had plush beds with feather comforters, a luxurious private bath with an oversized bathtub, cable and a charming view of the town from the window along the back of the house.
