Hotel Simonis: Experience the Best of Germany!!!!

This historic, 3-star hotel lies in the picturesque village of Kobern-Gondorf, along the River Moselle. It is situated one kilometre from the station and a 13-minute train journey from Koblenz.

The cosy rooms and apartments in the 400-year-old main building of Hotel Simonis are individually decorated and include a minibar and a flat-screen TV.

The timber-framed building next door dates from 1321 and houses some of the spacious suites and quadruple family rooms offered by the hotel.

Guests are welcome to keep in touch via free Wi-Fi internet access, available in the public areas of the Simonis.

Look forward to a delicious breakfast buffet each morning, before setting out to explore your surroundings.

The hotel offers a bike-rental service, so you can discover the beautiful Moselle countryside at your own pace.

The restaurant serves traditional German cuisine and fine local wines, which you can enjoy by the cosy fireplace in winter.

The hotel serves snacks and refreshments on the Abteihof terrace when the weather is nice.

I had such a great experience here. The owners were so very nice and friendly. It is a very romantic place, great for a honeymoon or anniversary getaway but they can also accommodate families and large clubs very well with large rooms that can sleep up to 6 people.

I would HIGHLY recommend Hotel Simonis to anyone who wants to experience Germany at it's finest!
Very quaint village.... VERY BEAUTIFUL!

Surrounded by beautiful vineyards and can enjoy a glass of local wine. This valley is famous for their Riesling.

Schwarzwaldhof Nicklas: Romantic landscape, perfect accomodation

We have choose this accomodation because it seemed to be very close to the Rin Fall (fantastic fall situated on the border between Germany and Switerland). It is indeed close and very romantic. On a huge grass field there is a wooden cottage with red flowers at the windows. The location is fantastic, woods and green fields, the owners very nice, the food is done by the lady owner (she can cook even fresh fish from their own pond) and is very good and fresh. We have spent here a nice afternoon, a very quite night and left the place with the certitude that one day we will come back.

Romantikhotel Dorotheenhof: close to Weimar

This hotel on the fringe of Weimar is just 5 minutes driving distance to the inner city and has a beautiful, quiet location with a small park. Cozy rooms, perfect service, excellent breakfast menu, fair prices.

Elztal - Hotel: Wellness in the Black Forest

The Elztal - Hotel near the village of Winden in the Black Forest is a great place to unwind - cozy rooms, great swimmingpool (indoor/outdoor), excellent food, superb fitness center, panoramic views of the surrounding Black Forest, and outstanding service. It is close to many attractions of the Black Forest area, and many hiking paths start directly at the hotel.

Motel Autobahnraststätte, Hamburg: A lovely motel

This is a lovely Motel Autobahnraststätte located on the outskirts of the city of Hamburg with basic amenities for overnight motorists. Continental breakfast is charged separately. This unique motel is quite new and impressive, it has to be said!

It is a favourite motel for motorists travelling between the Scandinavian countries such as Sweden, Norway and Denmark and continental European cities such as Paris and Amsterdam.

Minotel Alte Bauernschänke: Great place to stay in Assmannshausen

This was where my wife and I stayed on our first night in Germany. After all the places we've stayed this one stands out as the nicest. We stayed on the top floor in what seemed more like a spacious apartment than hotel room. Very clean...very nice bathroom. If you can get a room here I wouldn't hesitate. If you stay in this town you MUST visit the Babble a Pub. The bartender/entertainer Ziggy is like a lovable charactor out of a Seinfeld episode.

Berlin Swisshotel: Berlin's most comfortable and convenient hotel

The Swisshotel, just a few steps off the Kudamm, is perfectly located to use as a base to explore Berlin. Modern, clean, efficient yet friendly, the hotel's service, facilities and amenities are second to none. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located in a quietish business/residential area, shops and restaurants are close by. Access to transport couldn't be easier - Zoo station is less than 5 minutes walk away.

Staff and service - superb.

Location - excellent.

Nurnburg Castle: Stay at a castle

It wasn't bad. My friend and I were able to get a room just to ourselves, so that we didn't have to share it with strangers. The fact that you are actually staying in a castle is just awesome.

Just so you know that what I'm saying here is true, take a look here:

at the bottom of the HISTORY section, you can see that it says "Today, the emperor's old mews is used as a youth hostel."

That's where we stayed. We didn't have reservations at all, we just walked to the front desk and got a room for a few nights. There were some great places to eat within just a couple blocks, as well. It was a fun time, and reasonably priced as I recall.

It's a castle...need I say more?

Hotel Ramada, Kassel: An excellent hotel

Hotel Ramada is located right in the heart of Kassel City Centre. It is an excellent four star hotel with good dining facilities. Its restaurant offers excellent buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has approximately 170 well furnished rooms spread over 14 floors. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the services are impeccable.

Among its excellent facilities and amenities are business center with meeting and conference rooms, free parking, non smoking rooms, sauna, whirlpool, pets allowed, wheelchair accessible, elevator, cable television, safe deposit boxes, laundry and dry cleaning services.
