A Wombat In The Alb Valley
On a sunny January day we went to the Black Forest for a hike and some cultural explorations. The Alb valley is not far from our hometown, so we simply took the tram up there. On the shadowy side of the valley there was still some snow on the ground. I checked out the bush but decided I do not want to live there. It was not too comfortable.
First we visited the ruins of Frauenalb, a former nunnery. From there we hiked up the valley to the spa town of Bad Herrenalb. After exploring the town and, well, another ruin of another monastery, Mommy went to the spa for a swim in warm water. In the meantime I was locked up in a steel prison together with her stuff, she said for safety reasons. Well, swimming and getting wet is not 'my thing' anyway.
