a good hotel
I have stayed in Steigenberger hotels elsewhere before, so knew to expect spotless rooms, good service, and an over-all nice hotel. It lives up to its promises and we would stay there again. We had a nice large room with a great view. The location was pretty good; we walked to all the sights in Baden-Baden. I guess the parking was good; the doorman simply dealt with that for us.

Unique Quality: I was travelling with work, so managed to get to stay in the 5-star Steigenberger Europaischer-Hof, in a gorgeous room with a balcony over-looking the River Oos.

Steigenberger Eruopaeischer is reported to be the oldest of the chain ... and you can really see this :-)
Apart from kidding it's not such a bad place but you'll never believe it's 5-stars rated. It's clean, comfortable and all the usual stuff you get from a 4-stars ...
Unique Quality: Actually the interiors are unforgettable, quite large and historical ... but to be honest you can feel this is an old guy :-) ... and if you feel cold ... please pray they have an extra heater for your room ...
