5 Star Luxury after a long day on the road
Being a small town Ettlingen does not have much to choose from in accommodation.
I finally selected this 5 star Hotel because of the location and because it was our first sleep on our big road trip through Europe. I knew that hubby would be tired from driving and that he would want to rest up in comfort.
Even though we did not use the full 5 star inclusions, after a big night out with our friends we were looking foward to a good night sleep. And we got it here! :o)
For a 5 star hotel the price was not too bad. Also I would recommend booking with booking.com. In fact we booked most of our Europe trip with booking.com and never had a problem.
So if you plan to stay in Ettlingen then bite the bullet, pay the extra and stay at Hotel Restaurant Erbprinz.
Ps... read the reviews on booking.com web site link below. You can't get better than 8.8 in satisfaction.

Ettlingen's Lap of Luxury
The staff is wonderful. A beautiful & quiet hotel located perfectly in the Market area of Ettlingen in walking distance of the castle. It has easy access to restaurants & the market too. There are two wonderful restaurants located in the hotel. They have an onsite spa, it's free for guests. The spa includes 2 whirl pool tubs, 2 foot spas, 4 saunas, 2 showers in both men and women separated sections plus three different wonderful showers in the main area. They also have a lounging area inside & out plus a beauty center, a massage room, a fitness center, & tanning bed. The atmosphere is absolutly fabulous in the Spa area. There is also a salon & hotel boutique, a Doctor in house, this hotel has it all even secure parking (free for guests). In the US this would be a 5 star easy. We have stayed in Hiltons, Marriots, Raddisons among many other high ranking hotels and this one blows them away. They serve a free to guest breakfast buffet that can't be beat too. You want to relax this is definitly the place to be.
Unique Quality: The spa area is fabulous and the double rooms are just beautiful. Everything you could ask for in a hotel. The service is wonderful and they have many staff members who can speak English and help in translation.
