what exactly are you looking for, jewelry shops selling exclusive brands or those making their own jewelry? Nittel is the biggest in terms of selling well known brands and in addition having a studio/workshop of their own: http://www.nittel.de/ (only in German, but you might get an impression)
A goldsmith in the third generation, working with the best known precious metals separating works (also in the third generation) and jewel merchants is Lechler.
We had our wedding rings made there, we decided on the design, the diamonds, the shape and everything and were very well consulted and are still very happy with the rings. http://www.lechlers.de/start.php
Besides, the "jewelry city and goldsmith city" in Germany is Pforzheim, not too far from Freiburg.

The water ways flowing through the streets make Freiburg unique, romantic and very pictureresque. Well as they served to water cattle in the past, today they serve to cool off hot feet in summer and are very popular for the kids.
Guggemusik originates in the Swiss carnival but becomes more and more popular in the South West of Germany, too. There are quite a number of these funny bands in the Freiburg parade.
Most bands consist of brass and drums. The rules how to make Guggemusik are easy:
1. The majority of the band plays the same song.
2. Start together and fisnish together. No one cares what happens in between.
3. Make as much noise as you can.
4. No worries. Whether you hit the right notes or not doesn't matter.
5. It's the listeners' problem whether or not they recognize the piece you're playing, not yours.
6. Have fun.
7. HAVE FUN!!!!
A good Guggemusik will torture the ears of any 'serious' musician... but it's just wonderful!!!
There are even Guggemusik competitions: The noisiest band wins!

Freiburg is the capital and largest city of Black Forest region.This forest is called this way because the dark green color of the kind of pine trees in all this region.If you visit Freiburg for a few days and you're a nature lover,don't hesitate to go to little villages around,also this is the perfect place to hiking,there are lots of walking trails along all region.There are also many campgrounds and bed and breakfast located in the small roads or in the little villages,a nice place for a relaxed vacations!!.

Kaiserstuhl is a small and the only hill in an otherwise rather flat part of the Rhinevalley in the north of Freiburg, and so it looks a bit like a chair for the emperor (=Kaiser-Stuhl). This area is perfect for growing wine and already the old romans started to do so there. On my pictures is the village of Riegel , where we spent one night in the lovely village that even has some remains of the Roman times. There are lots of half-timbered houses as well and the townhall / Rathaus was built into a baroque castle.
Taste the local wine, wine from Kaiserstuhl is really something special !!!
Kaiserstuhl is an easy half-day-trip from Freiburg im Breisgau !
Enjoy the relaxing park in front of the Hotel Victoria, just few steps from the downtown.
You could also learn something about the trees you can see here cause they put a label on them with detailed explanations ...
