Be careful!
My friend made a reservation for two single rooms, for my colleague and me for one night . My colleague stayed in this hotel last year, paying 50 euros for a single room. When we arrived, the manager gave us the keys without giving any details/price about the rooms and without asking any ID. Hotels always confirm the reservation details in writing or verbally upon checking in. I felt that it was different than other hotels but we did not ask anything. We just trusted them.
The bed in my room was big. I thought the room was not bad for a single room and I stayed a night , without any doubt.
When we checked out , the charge for each room turned out to be 78 euros. -- the charge for a double room!
The manager did not ask if we needed two double rooms when we checked in. We naturally thought he should give us two single rooms. He obviously took advantage of the situation. Come to think about it, it was clear why he moved or switched our reservation in the reservation chart and took time to decide about the rooms on his desk . He did not ask us if we needed two double rooms.
When we complained about the check-in process and charges, the owner was very defensive and rude.
We both felt ripped off! I would not recommend this hotel.
We could have stayed better hotel with that cost. This hotel is a kind of budget hotel and does not have a quality or character.

ALLVITALIS Traumhotel
Unique Quality: This hotel is for people who like the extraordinary. Already the facade is made like big fantasy sculptures and inside you'll find different theme rooms, like the iglu-room, the fairy-tale-room, the Africa-room, the lighthouse-room and so on.
If you visit Karlsruhe with children, this would be your choice. They'll like it.
Integrated in the hotel is the restaurant 'Badisch Brauhaus'.
