Friendly Stay on the Shore
The Ringhotel Schiff Am See is a friendly hotel right on the shore of lake constance, next to the Meersburg Ferry. It is right on the shore. Though it is not in the old town of Konstanz, the number 1 bus stops just outside, and you can get there in 10 minutes. It is also only a few minutes by the number 4 bus in Mainau. There is a bier keller nearby as well. The rooms were nice and good sized for the price, with big European "double" beds, usual breakfast, and a friendly staff.
